The State of Baja California is located in the Northwest part of Mexico, in the North of the Peninsula of Baja California. It has a common border with the United States of America with a longitude of 253 kilometers, bordering with the State of California and Arizona in the northern country. It is surrounded by the Sea of Cortés on the East, and to the West by the Pacific Ocean, adding up to a total of 1,493 km of coastline.

The diversity of its regions gives singular characteristics to the State. It has a large dessert area as well as important forest areas that comprehend the National Forest Reserves of the Sierra de San Pedro Mártir and the l857 Constitution National Park, this last one being inhabited by a wide variety of fauna species where hunting is allowed.

Its natural beauties are indeed what attract thousands of tourists who travel from all over the globe to enjoy the spectacular landscapes and resources which nature has given to the State.
